My SIP does not enable video from my VVX 500 however does allow video calling from the app. Seems to me that I should be able to configure the phone to replicate the app and get it working. Can anyone provide any guidance. 

 

 

So frustrating dealing with an SIP who goes out of their way to disable functionality of the phones

Hello @Poly Com,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

To answer your real question do you have access to the SIP credentials for this Service Provider or is this a fully hosted solution.

 

If you have admin access to the Web Interface you can simply enable Video and the D60.

 

If not there is not much you can do.
