For about the 15th time I am having issues with Visual+ provisioning. FW 5.5.2 & 5.5.3 have been tried with the same behaviour in each instance.

The Visual+ units will not obey mr.deviceMgmt.useHubsProvServer="1" properly.

If it's set in the Trio 8800 config they ignore it entirely and if I provide it via USB provisioning it only persists until I pair them to a Trio at which point it reverts to provisioning from the Trio.

The problem with this is that the Trio will not pass 802.1x config information to the Visual+ units, making it impossible for them to authenticate to our network.

Example MAC: 00:04:F2:FD:28:ED

Hello @Spad,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

I cannot reproduce this. Once I import the:

mr.deviceMgmt.useHubsProvServer="1"

Parameter it stays with the Trio and the Visual+ would not be taking the config any longer from the Trio.

I suggest you raise this via your reseller. Please provide the Trio's MAC as the Visual+ does not show me a reseller.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
