Visual indicator of call forwarding activation

I tried looking through the admin guide, the FAQ, and the community posts but could not find out how to configure a flexible button for a specific purpose or if it was even possible.

I have a VVX300 running 5.6 connected to a Broadsoft pbx.

For several of our customers, we used a Flexible Line Key to link to a Directory Favorite.  The Favorite is set to dial the Call Forward Always code (*72 in this case) with a specific phone number appended to it.  In some cases, we've set up multiple Call Forward buttons to different destinations.

Is it possible to have the LED indicator for the Flexible Line Key light up when a specific call forward is activated?  Maybe utilize a different call forwarding method (refer signaling instead of a star code?) instead of using a Directory Favorite with a dial string?

So the scenario would be as follows:

- phone has 2 call forward buttons programmed on a flexible line key; Forward to Cell and Forward to Assistant

- phone also has a Call Forward Cancel button

- user presses "Forward to Cell" and call forwarding is activated to the cell phone.  The indicator light next to "Forward to Cell" is lit indicating this option is active.

- user presses "Forward to Assistant" and forwarding is activated to the assistant.  The indicator light for "Forward to Cell" turns off and the light for "Forward to Assistant" lights up indicating  this forwarding option is active.

- subsequent presses of either Call Forward button would light the LED next to the appropriate Flexible Line Key

- user presses a "Call Forward Cancel" button and neither inidicator light is lit.

To my knowledge this is not currently possible and would require a feature request. The FAQ contains a post how to request a change to the current software.
