We have in our company about 50 SoundStation IP 7000 in use . These are operated at an OpenScape Voice system from . Unify . In the areas used , it is necessary to record the conversations . For this purpose we use a ASC EVOip solution . Is there a way (possibly modified firmware ) to deposit the recording parameters in the conference phones ? Is there generally the possibility the software side, a recording on triggers ?

welcome to the Polycom Community.

 

How is this recording triggered?

 

I doubt we would add something like this into this legacy phones but would need to understand what requirements this would have.

 

The phone itself can trigger PUSH and POLL messages so maybe your team could utilize this via an 3rd party application they could write themselves ?

 

We have many of our customers using similar methods to archive out of scope functionalities simply by using our phones enhanced capabilitis.
