Hello Jim,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The VVX600 is soon end of sale due lack of parts. The VVX is its predecessor. There is not VVX611

That doesn't really answer the question by the OP. I was told the only difference between the 600 and 601 is that the 601 supports gigabit. I have a VVX 601 and was just informed that Broadview Networks can't get them to work on their network and that they only support the 600. I bought a 601 because it's the newer model. Are there additional difference between the 600 and 601? Thanks.

Hello Mike719,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Both the VVX600 and the VVX601 support Gigabit Ethernet.

The 601, as already explained to the OP, is the new model going forward. It has more memory and a quicker CPU. No more technical detail are available publicly. The VVX600 will be end of sale due lack of parts soon.

Hello Jack,

I am checking this internally but for the next few years the normal VVX should be fine and supported.

Hello Jack,

Here is the feedback from our Product Management:

Nope, just SoundPoint IP phones only – and all competitor products of course. Please tell them to ask their Polycom authorized reseller about the “Polycom4SIP” Trade-in program.
