When will we see next UC firmware version?

When will we see next UC firmware version?

The last real update to the UC firmware (for Soundpoint IP phones) version, the 3.3.1 was in October 2010.

It is now almost 10 months, it is not a typical of Polycom to wait so long between firmware releases with a bunch of changes.

 

Is there a new release around the corner, or the release is already there, it's just not now accessible to the general public?

welcome to the Polycom Community.

 

I cannot give you specific Release dates for Major new Releases or follow up Releases.

 

Currently the new UCS 4.0.0 has only been released in North America for the new Polycom Spectralink 8400 Series Handsets.

 

Please check here to familiarize yourself with the SDK or the Release Notes and the new UCS 4.0.0 Admin Guide.
