Re: add macro NO BLIND transfer EFK

Hello joynt,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Could you ensure to provide some feedback if the other reply => here <= has helped you so other users can profit from your experience before posting a new question?

An EFK is simply a replication / macro of the steps it would take to manually do this.

I am also not sure I fully understand what you mean by removing a "sound/tone".

In addition It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

The above is also stated in the "Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello joynt,

You did not answer all my questions.

Could you ensure to provide some feedback if the other reply => here <= has helped you so other users can profit from your experience before posting a new question?

In regards to your new question the community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Nov 25, 2011 Question: How can I change the functionality of a softkey button / use EFK?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Example 9 should do what you are after.

Example 9:

  • Create a Softkey to directly transfer a call and hangup
<WEB
	feature.enhancedFeatureKeys.enabled="1"
	softkey.1.action="123$Trefer$"
	softkey.1.enable="1"
	softkey.1.label="Dtrans"
	softkey.1.use.active="1"
	softkey.1.insert="3"
	/>
  • The above will only display the key Dtrans when a incoming call is answered. Pressing this key will dial 123 and REFER the active "held" call to this number.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Re: add macro NO BLIND transfer EFK

Hello joynt,

You still did not answer all my questions.

Could you ensure to provide some feedback if the other reply => here <= has helped you so other users can profit from your experience before posting a new question?

The above helps other users so please be so kind and either leave some reply or mark it as a solution provided.

In regards to this new topic it's not super easy to script.

A suggestion could be:

<?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
<!-- Fixed number attendant transfer EFK -->
<Changes feature.enhancedFeatureKeys.enabled="1"
softkey.1.action="$Ftransfer$$FDialpad3$$FDialpad0$$FDialpad0$$FDialpad8$$Fsoftkey1$"
softkey.1.enable="1"
softkey.1.label="Trans"
softkey.1.use.active="1"
softkey.1.precede="1"
/>

The above would "dial" 3008.

The only manual action, as the location of the softkeys depends on if the other party answers, would be once answered to press the More Softkey and then hit the Transfer softkey once you spoke to the other party.

If you add a pause into the above and then add the softkey4 into the Macro it would be fully automated.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
