I have a question as to what the impacts are of not including the updater file when upgrading the UC software. We upgraded to the UC software 4.0.14 but we never included the updater(bootrom) file 5.0.14.  All the IP6000/IP7000 are running at least 4.x bootroom. I am assuming we will need to upgrade the updater but wanted to understand the difference in versions.

Hello @avayadude97 ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

It is not always necessary to update both the SIP and BootROM/Updater but check >here<

The above contains the current latest supported 4.0.15 and Updater 5.0.15 for both the IP6000 and IP7000

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
