I can't find information on this.  We have 5 polycom soundpoint 335's that we just puchased for use with a voip provider.  When dialing a local number without the area code we must append a # tot he end of the 7 digits in order to have the call complete.  Our viop provider insists that is a setting in the phone that does this but they are not familiar with this phone or its settings.  I suspect it is not a phone setting and need to be able to get back tot he viop provider to tell them this.

By the way, we must dial a # when we dial our 3 digit extensions also.

Can anybody help me with a solution to not having to dial # with local 7 digit calls or 3 digit extensions?  Is there some place I can tell the phone that 3 digit extensions and 7 digit numbers are valid?

Thanks,

Joe

Resolution: Please check => here <=

I am simply assuming you are dialing off hook as you failed to provide this detail.
