Hello Everyone,

I am trying to use the BLF features, its working great with the config below to display the status of the user and show when a call is coming in on the wathced extension - perfect.

What I cant figure out is how to PICKUP the call if its ringing, to pickup a call in our PBX you dial the extension number with a * after it, for example if extension 1234 is rining I would call 1234* and it would pickup.

How do I setup the Polycom do that, placing the * after the extension number?

Thanks!

attendant.resourceList.1.label="test user"
attendant.resourceList.2.address="5678"
attendant.resourceList.2.label="IT Queue"
call.directedCallPickupMethod="legacy"
call.directedCallPickupString="*"/>

Hello tbagalini,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The method you would like our phones to support is not included.

We either use the legacy i.e. send a code, in your case the phone would just send * / Star or if native is used sends SIP INVITE with the Replaces header.

A change to this behavior would need to be raised via your Polycom reseller and include a business case justifying the change and the amount of handset's involved.

It may be easier to check this with your yet unknown SIP PABX provider.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
