I am using a SoundPoint IP 650 and for some reason the line is now refusing to register.

Had this problem about 2 years ago and by resetting everything, reformatting & provisioning the Current GA Release (4.0.7 .2514Combined) I was able to solve the problem.  Have tried this again but this time can not get the line to register.

Also tried using 4.1.0 & 4.1.1 but that didn't help either, currently back at 4.0.7.

The SIP account works perfectly when I put the details into ZoIPer, so there is no problem with the details & provider I'm using - NyNetFone.

Found this in the application log (I've X'ed out the user) -

1007104354|sip |*|03|SipUserRemove 0
1007104355|cfg |5|03|Prm|Parameter acd.reg requested type 0 but is of type 2

1007104359|sip |*|03|User removed
1007104427|sip |4|03|Registration failed User: 09XXXXXX, Error Code:480 Temporarily not available

I have tried changing device.sec.TLS.prov.strictCertCommonNameValidation & .set in site.cfg & device.cfg as per http://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP/Polycom-phone-auto-provisioning-HTTP-s-doesn-t-work-with/td-p/4... to no avail.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,

Thank you.

Hello Ian1,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The UCS 4.1.0 and UCS 4.1.1 are for LYNC only.

The linked post talks about provisioning which does not match your case where you state you cannot register your phones.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
