ip 335 won't hard reset to Admin password prompt

I have searched and search google for an answer


1/2 our phones will accept the 1,3,5,7 hard manufacturer reset to admin password and the other half won't.

i'll post in hopes to get a quick answer and try search. been on this for 48 hours, no luck.

It is always useful to provide the currently used software Version as the reply may depend on this.

Above describes in detail how to do this during the countdown process.


Please be aware that we do not disclose within this official Polycom community how to reset the Phones if the Admin Password is lost.

Many of our partners utilize these phones and offer services so we cannot publicly disclose the procedure to do so.

Please contact our support team via your Polycom reseller or your prior provider.

We will remove any post replying to this that will publicly explain how to remove the password.
