packet capture with 5.2.0.8330

Try to do packets capture with wireshark but received error connect() failed: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.  (code 10061)

the config is the following:

<diags
   >
    <diags.pcap
     diags.pcap.enable="1"
     >
      <diags.pcap.remote
       diags.pcap.remote.enable="1"
       diags.pcap.remote.password="*****"
       diags.pcap.remote.port="2002"
       >
      </diags.pcap.remote>
    </diags.pcap>
  </diags>

and the reluting dump of the config from the phone:

<PHONE_CONFIG>
 <!-- Note: The following parameters have been excluded from the export:
  diags.pcap.remote.password=""
  reg.1.auth.password=""
 -->

nothing else in the config of the phone.

Re: packet capture with 5.2.0.8330

Hello YvesC,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jul 11, 2014 Question: How can I capture the network traffic of the phone remotely?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above post explains the parameters are

diags.pcap.enabled="1"
diags.pcap.remote.enabled="1"

and not diags.pcap.remote.enable="1" or diags.pcap.enable="1"

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
