I got a Polycom 331 from someone I know... phone was used but still looks decent. I brought it home connected it to my router and turned it on... first I noticed was it didn't show loading application like it always should when phone is being turned on... it just brought me to the main sceen saying my phone needs to boot after 9 seconds... when I let it do its thing... I will get a prompt saying 'Could not contact server using existing config'then it will show 'Error, application is not present'...

 

I tried to follow the step online on how to set it to stand alone mode... because the only thing I can clicked on was 'Set Up'but after doing that... its still keeps on rebooting on this loop.

 

It would not allow me to get to the Menu... when I press the button... its not bring me there so I cant set it to factory settings.

 

I dont know where to go from here... please help....

Can you tell me whats the reason why its not loading any application when I turned on the unit and instead its just saying that it will boot up. Thanks. First time installing voip phone and I am learning on the process.
