hi,

 

I have problems accessing the provisioning url tab in a ip 550 I rebooted the phone and it didn't help

Hi,

 

my voip provider told me to unplug phone and I did it and it came up the setup button I pressed it and he told me to go to provisioner tab and it didn't have that option so he couldn't  provision my phone to connect to his server.

Hello duvi,

Depending on the phone model and the software it is running the option may be in a sub menu.

 

You simply need to check or your provider should talk your through it.

thx steffen the problem was from the provider and its finally solved.

hi again my provider couldn't provision me a polycom 450 once used at a customer by different provider it couldn't pull any configs even thru the web gui so what  could I do in order to make this phone work????

Hello duvi,

 

simple question.

 

Once you go to the Menu via Menu Key => Settings => Advanced look like this:

when using 456 as the standard password or like this:

 

image

 

If it does look like the second screen then your previous provider has changed the Admin Password.

 

We do not publicly disclose how to reset this within the community so your old provider needs to give you the details or you need to call your Polycom reseller.

no I spoke to them they didn't lock nothing .

 

and I cant make any changes to that device

the details you provided so far have not provided any details like the currently used software version for example.

 

You also did not confirm if you can access the full menu as displayed or the limited menu.

 

If you can access the above and are able to navigate to the provisioning server section you should follow up below.
