have a vvx410 with 5.5.1.12442 on it.  i need to simply set voIpProt.SIP.header.diversion.enable to 1.  dont see this setting anywhere logged into phone web interface.  i exported what i called the SIP.cfg file and there is basically no perameters set as its a new phone.

would i simply add the code line to this file and import it to add it?  if so what would need to be added?  thx much

Hello hodor,

A couple of your old posts => here <= are still open / pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution".

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice was useful and has helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate ?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilize the community more efficiently.

In regards to your new question we do no longer use the terminology sip.cfg and phone1.cfg

The VoIP FAQ contains this:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Do I always need a Provisioning Server or can I configure a Phone via the Web Interface or via the Phone Gui?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

and

Mar 08, 2013 Question: Where can I download configuration files from or create these myself?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please ensure you update your old posts prior to posting new ones.

since i have 5.5.1 on my phone i downloaded the latest 700meg file:  Polycom-UC-Software-5-5-0-rts45-V-release-sig-split

extracted and found a config folder inside that had the sip-interop.cfg file inside of it.  opened that cfg file in notepad++ and i found the voIpProt.SIP.header.diversion.enable and it is set to 0.

can i simply change that to a 1, save it, and import the sip-interop.cfg file into phone?  or does the whole config folder need to be imported?
