Hello hodor,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

Please also include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC / Skype for Business server.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Read First"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

In addition please also post what Polycom phone model you are using.

Most likely when pressing # you are dialing DTMF and we do not display the dialed digits on the screen.

The above is based on an assumption as you have not provided a sufficient level of detail.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello hodor,

This does not tell any one the exact version when they find this post in days, weeks, month or years to come.

Please always post the exact version.

Again back to your initial issue it is very uncommon to transfer a caller via pressing Hash # or Star * and I assume your SIP provider some some strange things here.

Usually you would see a SIP Invite being send with SEND ONLY to hold a call or transfer a call.

DTMF is Tones being send to the far end. If this is how you transfer a call you will not see the digits on the screen.
