I have recently been trying to set up a soundstation IP 5000 and have so far been unable to register the phone with my sip provider.

I have checked the details with a grandstream phone so I know sip address and user/pass work.

As I understand it these phones don’t really work behind NAT so I have opened ports on the firewall and also need to set the RTP port and voip port to specific values.

In lines section I have set up info inidentification. Put info into server 1 including port (5087) and set UDP only.

In network / RTP port settings I have filter by ip address and filter by port enabled

Forced port and port range start both to 6040

The Network translation section I have left untouched.

On the router both port 5087 (sip) and 6040 (rtp) point to the phone can you please advise where I’m going wrong

UCS 4.0.7 is the latest supported SIP Software for the SSIP5000

the upgrade path looks to be a mess and documentation is all over the place.
