HelloIronhedz ,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
A flash key is an analog PABX functionality and does not exist, to my knowledge, in the SIP world for SIP Endpoints.
Usually a Conference / Hold scenario is based on a new INVITE placing the other call on hold.

Is there a step by step instruction for adding a softkey to the IP7000 Using UCS: 4.0.5 Rev. C?
I have found instructions, however they are not clear on what file to download from the phone (config Files, Local, Web, Device Settings) , and modify from the phone and for different UCS
Basically, all i am looking to do is add some softkeys that will immulate a user pressing #9xxx from the phone where xxx=[a number]. We have several trunks and I would like to assign each trunk a name, so all the user has to do is find the trunk name from the softkey list and press the softkey to get the line.
EX:
[Trunk 1 Name] = #9001
[Trunk 2 Name] = #9001
[Trunk 3 Name] = #9001
...
Thank you in advance for any help.

Hello SteveSteve,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
The above reply already contains this:
Nov 25, 2011 Question: How can I change the functionality of a softkey button / use EFK?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Example 7 shows how to dial a Number and use this as a conference. Based on this you should be easily able to create a EFK to simply dial this code.
Basically:
feature.enhancedFeatureKeys.enabled="1" softkey.1.label="Trunk1" softkey.1.use.idle="1" softkey.1.enable="1" softkey.1.action="#9001$"
In regards how to get this on the phone:
- Create your own configuration file and simply import via the Web Interface
Mar 08, 2013 Question: Where can I download configuration files from or create these myself?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
- Or setup a provisioning server hosting software and configuration that the phone automatically downloads
Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
