speed dial keeps asking "enter more digits"

In the directory of my phone SPIP321, I have  several speeddials with a simple dialplan. But each time i try to use a speeddial, both via keyboard or directory, my polycom phone asks "enter more digits". At that point, i can only enter the pound key (#) and nothing happens.

What's causing this message?  How do I get my phone  to dial+send with  speeddials?

Many thanks in advance,

Soundpoint SPIP 321

Firmware SIP 4.0.7

My  Dialplan.digitmap is "10x|7xx"  with "dialplan.applyToDirectoryDial" option enabled

My directory is (snippet):

<directory><item_list><item><fn>109</fn><ln>Voicemail</ln><ct>1</ct><sd>1</sd><rt>1</rt><dc/><ad>0</ad><ar>0</ar><bw>0</bw><bb>0</bb></item> ....

Re: speed dial keeps asking "enter more digits"

Hello Hans,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The Speed Dial you selected is 1 but the SPIP / SSIP Phones support over 100 Speed Dials (from my memory) so have you tried 01# instead?

The Digitmap is only working when the phone is off hook.
