Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade 4 Polycom IP 5000 phones from out the box the SIP Software is 3.3.3.0069 and Bootrom version is 4.3.1.0440.

I have read the numerous posts and have downloaded Polycom_UC_Software_4_1_0_Rev_I_release_sig_combined.zip & SoundPoint_IP_BootROM_4_4_0B_Upgrader_release_sig.zip files after previously attempting to upgrade to Polycom_UC_Software_4_0_1_rts73_P_release_sig_combined.zip.

There seems to be a mismatch in some of the documentation as it states to download the upgrader utilty - however when doing this the SIP.id files are not in there.  Of the 2 phones I have tried one re-boots and continuously loads but doesn't upgrade the software at all - the other now continuously loops round stating it is updating the SIP.ld

Any help / advise anyone can give would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Paul
