Polycom does not always release a new Administrator Guide for every individual UC Software Release.

Newly introduced Parameters are usually included within the Software accompanying Software Release notes.

It may be desirable to verify the standard values or the minimum and maximum values for any configuration Parameter.

Since the introduction of UC Software 3.3.0 the \Config Subdirectory included in a downloaded Software from the Polycom support Page => here <= contains a file called polycomConfig.xsd

The above file holds the definition of all available parameters and their values

Example parameter voice.rxQos.avgJitter

xsd:attribute name="voice.rxQos.avgJitter" type="UInt_0_80">
  <xsd:annotation><xsd:documentation>number min 0 max 80 default 20.</xsd:documentation></xsd:annotation>
</xsd:attribute>

More details on XSD can be found => here <=

Since UC Software 4.0.0 the Web Interface itself also shows the parameters within the Field Help section:

ConfigParameterFieldHelp_00.png

The above shows the reg.1.protocol.SIP parameter.

The above illustrates the SNTP Server parameter actually being device.sntp.serverName shown in the "special" Device Parameter => here <=
