Hello,

I use a LDAP corporate directory for my contacts. After phone reboot first time when I go to DIR then Corp Dir, the phone display on top the Search and under all the contacts. If I press to search something and exit then go back DIR, Corp Dir the list with the contacts is not there anymore under the Search.

There is a way to make the list of contacts to be displayed everithyme when you go DIR , Corp Dir ... under the search field?

Thanks in advance,

Constantin

Hello Constantin,

Not knowing your configuration I can only suggest to check the Admin guide for:

  • dir.corp.viewPersistence

If 0, the corporate directory search filters and browsing position are reset each time the user accesses the corporate directory.

If 1, the search filters and browsing position from the previous session are displayed each time the user accesses the corporate directory

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hi Steffen,

If I set dir.corp.viewPersistence to 1 the contact will persist there as I want. But if I update a contact phone number for example, it will not be updated in that list until I search that contact....

Any option to fix this ....

Thanks

Hello Constantin,

the results shown there are the results from the "earlier" search.

Updating a contact will require you to search again. This is not how LDAP works as the results are cached.

Hello Steffen,

This option: dir.corp.backGroundSync.period  3600, normally has to refresh automatically the corporate directory cache....if i'm not wrong.

After a phone number changed in LDAP, I have wait 1 hour and when I go in the Corp Dir the list under Search field is not updated ... until I do another search...

This option it should work, no ?

Best Regards,

Constantin
