I was able to get a softkey working that allows for transfer to voicemail using a prompt for the user to enter the extension.  To make this perfect for receptionists or any users with BLF it would be best if when the prompt is up to allow the user to hit the BLF button of the party they wish to transfer the call to.  Currently when you do this (with automata) it grabs a new line and calls the extension.

So, the question is how can we make it so that we can create a macro that does:

Transfer > Blind > prepend a star code (*55) > User presses BLF button > Done

If the user uses the voicemail softkey then presses the BLF for extension 100 it would transfer the call blind to *55100

Hello mcsmith86,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I do not think this is currently possible as the EFK action needs to end and any other key being pressed would interrupt the sequence.

I'm in need of doing something similar. The original reply said this is 'not currently possible' and I wanted to see if this has been added as a feature in a later firmware.

Hello @Dave RC-SE,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Nobody to my knowledge ever requested this.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
