Mine is still flashing and isn't fixed. What's worse is that I have this headset connected to PC and to a landline. When the USB thing is flashing blue, I cannot make or receive any outside calls from landline! I've done all of the troubleshooting steps recommended and nothing fixes this. I'm also using MS Teams. When I 'm done with a Teams call, the USB thing continues to flash and the only to stop it is to pull it out and re-insert it which isn't a viable solution.

When I make a landline call, once the call has ended, the USB flashing stops and it goes to being on constantly (blue) which is what it should do.

There are no updates to my s/w as I just checked. Please help. Thanks.

After reading through this forum, I tried to upgrade my firmware from 1723 to the latest.

First I upgraded the headset successfully and the upgrade was successfull.

When the BT600 upgrade started, the Poly Lens app crashed.

The BT600 won't work after that, the PC detects that BT600 is connected however Poly Lens PLT Hub won't detect it.

So I went from flashing lights to a bricked dongle.

Is there something I can do to get it to work again or is this dongle dead?

This flashing light is a horrible idea.  When I'm on a call I already know that!  I don't need a very distracting light flashing at me all the time to tell me I'm on a call or to tell me that I'm listening to some music.  I can't think of any reason why having a flashing light during normal operation would ever be considered a good thing.

I have developed a partial solution though - I folded an index card so that it covers up the light.  It is a big improvement!  The only thing I don't like about it is that the red light to indicate that I'm on mute is sometimes useful and now I no longer have that.  But to me, the trade-off is well worth it.  A more permanent solution may be a piece of black electrical tape, but I have hopes (perhaps unfounded) that someone will eventually realize how annoying this is and change it.
