Hi - someone in my office is trying to install a Voice Station 300 in their home office.  We can't get a dial tone off the phone jack.   Service is provided by Comcast.  Does a Voice Station 300 require a dedicated phone line or  is there a trick to get working with Comcast.  Tested the phone in our office where we have other polycoms and it worked fine,  but those are all dedicated lines to the Polycom.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The VoiceStation 300, like all our analog Conference phones, requires an analog phone line to work. I sugget you check with your provider if they can offer such.
