Hi,

Your help is appreciated because I have spent a lot of time and can't figure it out.

We have Polycom IP550 phones.  But it just doesn't store missed or received call numbers.  We have these lines in 0004F230B637-phone.cfg.  I know this .cfg file is loaded because another time setting was loaded.

Here are lines I enabled for missed calls.

    <missedCallTracking call.missedCallTracking.1.enabled="1" call.missedCallTracking.2.enabled="1" call.missedCallTracking.3.enabled="1" call.missedCallTracking.4.enabled="1" call.missedCallTracking.5.enabled="1" call.missedCallTracking.6.enabled="1" />
    <serverMissedCall call.serverMissedCall.1.enabled="1" call.serverMissedCall.2.enabled="1" call.serverMissedCall.3.enabled="1" call.serverMissedCall.4.enabled="1" call.serverMissedCall.5.enabled="1" call.serverMissedCall.6.enabled="1" />

Here is IP550 info:

Hello DC,

can you make a wireshark trace and check if your SIP INVITE contains a “SIP Display Info” portion?

If no please raise this issue via your Polycom reseller so it can be brought to the attention of your local Polycom support team.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hi,

I did wireshark capture, for the one Polycom phone does work displays Missed numbers, wireshark packets "From" tag in Message Header does have "SIP Display info:" filed.

But this IP550 doesn't work, "SIP Display info:" indeed is missing.

Both Polycom phones served by the same softswitch.  So, I think the issue must be with the configuration file or something.

I did notice this IP550 doesn't work, when it boots, it displayed "Running Application: Unknown" vs the working one displays "sip.ld".  Both phones provisioned from same provisioning server directory too.  I need check why IP550 didn't pull sip.ld down.   But did pull <MAC>-phone.cfg down which made SIP username and password configured correctly.

Hi,

I worked with our DID provider, and turned on CNAME, then "SIP Display Info:" showed up in header.  Then, Missed Call is still not stored. Still said "No Record" on IP550 phone. But it still works for my IP450 phone.

Here is how I made it work finally for IP550 phone:

1. Settings=>Advanced Settings=> enter admin password => Admin Settings => Reset to Defaults => Format File System

2. During phone startup, you can see "Setup" soft key, press it. enter admin password, press "OK" => select "Provisioning Server :"
   Select "Server Type" => "HTTP"
   Select "Server Address: " => "voipt2.polycom.com/403f"
   Press "Exit"=> "Exit" again => "Save and Reboot"

3. After reload appliation and reboot, mannually enter SIP username, password and SIP server and port

4. Then Missed Calls are displayed and stored.
