Hi,
After upgrading some Polycom Soundoint 650 to 4.1.1.0731 version we have realized that when an incoming call reaches the phone, the caller number that appears in the display is the "from" field of the INVITE SIP message.
For example:
If +34-681213895 calls the Polycom, it appears like sip:681213895@192.168.121.1.
The INVITE is:
INVITE sip:917831008@10.7.44.66 SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 10.238.248.113:5060;branch=z9hG4bKgnpq96109ojt3vhuf0s0.1 From: <sip:681213895@192.168.121.1;user=phone>;tag=762724236-1504682592624- To: "Nieto Francisco Javier"<sip:917831008@iecinet.es>
So, how to change the caller info from
sip:XXXXXXXXX@A.B.C.D to just XXXXXXXXX ??
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards.

Hi again,
As said, after downgrading to version 4.0.12, that problem was resolved. But now we have noticed another one, very similar.
Now, when you press down arrow to see missed calls and call back to the caller, the phone number appears as "sip:XXXXXXXXX@A.B.C.D" (A.B.C.D is our Application Server), and if you try to call it, it fails.
We don´t even see that try in our SBC, the call doesn´t reach it.
Is there any way to solve it? We would need it appears as just XXXXXXXXX.
Bootrom: 3.0.2.0024 updater 5.0.12.0033
Software: 4.0.12.0926
Thanks in advance,
Regards.

Hello CST_SOPORTE,
The latest Software is at present 4.0.13 so please always test the latest.
The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Jan 19, 2012 Question: How to troubleshoot Polycom VoIP related Issues?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
In addition there is also a Parameter called URL Dialing
<test feature.urlDialing.enabled="0" />
Please provide at least some logs so community users can have a look at the incoming call.
If you struggle with the above please open a ticket.
In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you. End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.
If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
