At one of the facilities I manage we have a number of VVX411 phones. About a week or so ago once or twice a day a page would randomly go out to all of them. The page says it is coming from "Unknown". I have no idea where it is coming from. Has anyone here ran across this issue before or have any insight on a solution. Thank you.
Hello @MilesR ,
Welcome back to the Poly Community.
Did you ever solve your other issue >here<?
For your new issue with your yet unknown software version are these "real" pages? Aka is there any Audio submitted? How many phones are being paged and are they all in the same network?
The FAQ here:
Jan 21, 2014 Question: How can I use PTT / Push To Talk / Paging / Page ?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
Includes troubleshooting that may help you to find the source. Is this on a specific channel?
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

I apologize for the lack of information. These do not seem to be "real" pages as the pager says "unknown" but it does have an audible ring tone (the default paging tone).
All the phones are on the same network. There are about 14 of them.
Software version: 6.3.0.14929
Hello @MilesR ,

For your paging issues setup some logs and see if they come in via the channels you are actually using to track this down. You can then unsubscribe from those if not used.

Thank you I set up some logging. And checked them after receiving a random page. It said it was paging from Channel 26. I went through our configurations and can find where we even have a channel 26. I pasted a chunk of the logs below.

Hello @MilesR ,
From the Engineering Advisory 70568 guide:
Therefore Page channel 1 is channel 26.
If you are the admin for this and nobody requires this specific channel you can simply deactivate this using this:
<web ptt.pageMode.group.1.allowReceive="0"
ptt.pageMode.group.1.allowTransmit="0"
ptt.pageMode.group.1.available="0"/>
If this then still happens on another channel you may want to start a rolling Wireshark as explained here:
Jul 11, 2014 Question: How can I capture Wireshark network traffic from the phone remotely?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
The above-mentioned document should give you some troubleshooting tips and the page information should contain the Mac address of the originator.
If this fails or you are unable to do so please raise a ticket via your Poly reseller.
In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.
End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here
If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.
If the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
