Polycom VVX 400 contacts Synchronizing ...

Hi Team ,

 

We have bought new 60 devices polycom VVX 400 and during the initial testing we cannot see the caller name .. only the number is displayed. when we reboot the device we see contacts synchronizing voicemail synchrionizing repeatedly and at once i see the caller name and then called only number is displayed .. its like the sync is not happening right way .

Hello Meraj,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

Please also include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC / Skype for Business server.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

We are testing 5.5.1 on VVX 410's and we are seeing 'Contacts Synchronizing'.

BTOE is 3.4.2

“The issue regarding Continuously synchronizing contact with Microsoft.com tenant has been identified and a solution will be available in the next maintenance release.”

The "Contact Synchronizing" should be fixed via Polycom on the next UC software 5.5.2 Releas via:

 

  • VOIP-125154 Phone displays "Contact Synchronizing” continuously after registration with the microsoft.com tenant.

This release is due shortly.

This is not resolved. Happening with Skype for Business Online and Polycom VVX 411. "Contacts: Syncronizing" continues to flash with an exclamation point. This is using the latest UCS firmware available as of 4/18/18.

Stating the latest software does not help others when finding this post in days, weeks, months or years to come as they do not know what software mentioned was current at the time of writing.

Please therefore always post the exact complete build id.
