RealPresence Trio Visual+ using camera connecting to trio via USB

Is it possible to use the Visual+ camera when connecting to the Trio over USB? For example if using Webex or other non Skype service. I can select the Trio for Microphone and Audio, but there is no option to select the camera connected to the Visual+ box as video?

Re: RealPresence Trio Visual+ using camera connecting to trio via USB

Hello @SRUK,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

The feature that you are looking for is not included in any current software version.

I suggest to raise a feature request with a business plan to add USB passthrough.

Hello @Bjoern,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Someone from sales with contact you as we cannot discuss potential future software via the community.

Aug 09, 2016 Question:Why can Polycom not discuss future software Versions within the Community?

Explanation:Polycom, as a US based company, cannot share any future release dates or new features due the requirement of a non disclosure agreement / NDA prior to this.Via the medium of a community forum we are unable to do this.
