Message waiting light after reboot

I have a mix of Polycom VVX450's and VVX350's. After a reboot the phone will show the message waiting light even though there is no new messages. This doesn't happen on all the phones, only about 25%. They are all on the newest Polycom software. I can go into my voicemail from the phone and it clears the light, but this can be confusing for my staff. Broadvoice is my provider. I've contact their support and they don't seem to have an answer.

Thank you.

Re: Message waiting light after reboot

Hello @hall_rsd ,

Stating the latest software does not help others when finding this post in days, weeks, months or years to come as they do not know what software mentioned was current at the time of writing.

Please therefore always post the exact complete build id.

Therefore the Poly VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

Also, are these running UC Software or ObiHai?

Oct 7, 2011 Question: What SIP or UC or Obi Edition Software version or Updater / BootROM Version is supported by my Phone?

If we get a Notify message with the Message Waiting flag set then we will display the LED. You would need to work with Broadsoft on the root cause for this.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
