Polycom VVX - Send RTCP to remote collector

I was wondering if it's possible to send  RTCP (RFC 3611) to a remote collector in the same fashion as RFC 6035, as I don't have the VQmon liscense. Here are the parameters I have set in my config:
voice.qualityMonitoring.collector.server.1.address="MY SERVER"
Looking at packet captures, I'm seeing that RTCP reports are being generated and sent to the IP address of my SIP server, but not what I specified in my config (different hosts). Since the phone is already generating/sending RTCP reports, it would make sense that you should be able to decide where to send the data.

Re: Polycom VVX - Send RTCP to remote collector

Hello @philgreco,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

It also helps to attach a backup of the configuration rather than assume that a configuration has been applied.

Logs / Wireshark traces can also be useful.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
