VVX601 Video conference configuration - ringcentral

Hi, we have two VVX601 phones and are trying to figure out how to make the video chat work.

 

We are on ringcentral which says it does not support this, but from what Polycom says, and I understand its still possible to setup the devices to work together so that video chat works.

 

Polycom says: speak to your IT...

 

Does anyone have any info on how to make this work? I went into the phones browser settings and turned the cameras on. They display but how would I be able to set this up to work. Currently both phones are on the same lan.

welcome back to the Polycom community.

Some or a couple of your old post(s) => here <= are/is still open / pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution" or at least provided some form of feedback or answer.

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice provided was useful and has maybe helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate ?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilise the community more efficiently.

 

In addition is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.
